What is ONE Record?

ONE Record is a standard for data sharing and creates a single record view of the shipment from IATA. This ONE Record standard defines a common data model for the data that is shared via standardized and secured web API.

Why ONE Record?

In order to improve the efficiency, transparency and high-tech level of the air cargo industry, IATA set up this as a signal that the industry is ready to take digitalization to the next level and go beyond EDI and messaging technologies.

Who are the stakeholders of ONE Record?

The stakeholders are Shipper, DPT Agent, Carriers & GHA, DST Agent, Consignee along the aircargo transportation process.

When is the due time for implementation of ONE Record?

By January 1, 2026, IATA plans to have 100% of its member airlines deploy the ONE Record standard, making ONE Record the only valid IATA data exchange standard in the air cargo industry.
