What is ICS2?

ICS2 is a new customs security regulation published by the European Union, which aims to improve the security and transparency of imported goods. The system applies to all shipments entering or via the EU, Switzerland, Norway and Northern Ireland. It requires freight forwarders to submit detailed cargo information via electronic declaration prior to arrival. 

Who are responsible for declaration of ICS2 ENS?

The NVOCC and freight forwarder are mainly responsible for ICS2 ENS application, they need to make sure all the information can be submitted within the required time.
